We are live music experts, wedding enthusiasts, and strong believers in epic dance parties.
Mason Buonocore is a drummer who has performed in venues across Utah for over 7 years. Like most local artists, following his passion required a lot of sacrifice because there is little paid opportunity in the music industry. In 2019, he started The Wedding Band as a business to support local musicians while providing the wedding industry with affordable live entertainment.

About the founders
The first wedding we ever played was our own!
We are Ashlyn and Mason Buonocore: life-long musicians, total goofballs, and founders of The Wedding Band. When we got married in 2016, we asked Mason's high school band (and best friends) to play live music at our wedding. Ashlyn surprised Mason by singing "our" song, and Mason took a few turns behind the drums.
Years later, we still had people saying it was the best dance party they'd ever been to. We started playing weddings for friends and family until we finally made it an official business in 2019. Thank you for supporting our dream!
